How to add your Outlook and iCloud calendars to Google Calendar
Publish your Outlook calendar and your iCloud calendar as ICS links and add them to Google Calendar, so every schedule shows up in one place on your computer and phone.

If you keep work events in Outlook, family events in iCloud and everything else in Google Calendar, you have to check three apps and put up with three sets of notifications. It is easy to double-book when you only look at one of them.
Outlook and iCloud can both publish a calendar as an internet calendar link. Google Calendar can subscribe to that link with its From URL option. The events then appear alongside your Google events, with their own name and colour, and you can show them in the Google Calendar app on iPhone and Android.
No extra tools or automations are needed. The same method works for any external calendar that gives you an ICS link.

- A Google account with Google Calendar
- Outlook on the web (Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com)
- An Apple ID with iCloud Calendar, if you want to add iCloud

Publish your Outlook calendar
In Outlook on the web, open Settings (gear icon) > View all Outlook settings > Calendar > Shared calendars. Under Publish a calendar, pick the calendar (for example
Calendar) and chooseCan view all detailsso Google shows full event information. Select Publish. -

Copy the ICS link
Outlook shows two links. The HTML link opens the calendar in a browser. The ICS link is the one Google Calendar needs. Select the ICS link and choose Copy link.

Subscribe to it in Google Calendar
Open Google Calendar on the web. In the left pane, next to Other calendars, select the plus button and choose From URL. Paste the ICS link and select Add calendar. After a few moments the calendar appears. Open its settings and give it a clear name such as
Outlook. -

Get the iCloud public calendar link
Go to icloud.com/calendar and sign in with your Apple ID. Select the calendar sharing button next to the calendar you want, turn on Public Calendar, and copy the link.

Add iCloud to Google Calendar
In Google Calendar, go to Other calendars > plus > From URL again. Paste the iCloud link, select Add calendar, and rename it
iCloud. Pick a colour for each connected calendar so you can tell them apart. -

Show the calendars in the Google Calendar phone app
Open the Google Calendar app on iPhone or Android and tap the menu icon at the top left. Scroll down, tap Show more under your calendars, and check the boxes for the new
OutlookandiCloudcalendars. Their events now appear on your phone too.
Tips and common problems
- Use the ICS link from Outlook, not the HTML link. The HTML link only opens a web view.
- Choose
Can view all detailswhen publishing if you want event titles and details, not just free and busy blocks. - A calendar added by URL is read-only in Google Calendar. Create and edit those events in Outlook or iCloud.
- Anyone with a published or public calendar link can view it, so do not share the link.
- Once everything shows in Google Calendar, you can turn off notifications in the other calendar apps.
Questions
How do I add my Outlook calendar to Google Calendar?
In Outlook on the web go to Settings > Calendar > Shared calendars, publish your calendar and copy the ICS link. In Google Calendar select the plus next to Other calendars, choose From URL, paste the link and add it.
Can I edit Outlook events from Google Calendar?
No. A calendar subscribed by URL is read-only in Google Calendar. Changes you make in Outlook show up in Google, but not the other way around.
Why don't my iCloud or Outlook events show on my phone?
In the Google Calendar app, open the menu, tap Show more under your calendars, and check the box for each connected calendar.
How quickly do changes appear in Google Calendar?
Not instantly. Google Calendar refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule, so new or changed events can take several hours to appear.
