How to create a free HTML email signature with clickable links for Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook

Search for HubSpot email signature generator and open it. Preview the templates and pick one (the video uses Template 3). You can change the template at any time while designing. Untick Created with HubSpot if you do not want their credit link in your signature.

On the next tab fill in name, job title, department, company, phone number (you can add two), website, email address and street address. Leave any field empty to hide it. The preview updates as you type.

Add your social media profile links (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to show the icons. A custom text field is available if you need one.

Choose a theme color from the color picker or type a hex code. Copy the same code into the link color so they match. Keep the text black, then choose the font (the video uses Verdana) and a size.

The generator takes an image link, not an upload. Upload your photo to Google Drive, set sharing to Anyone with the link, copy the link and paste it in the profile picture field. Add a company logo the same way if you want one.

Under Custom CTA enter button text (for example Subscribe to the channel), the link it should open, and a button color.

Select Create Signature, confirm and submit. You get three options: Copy Signature, Copy Signature Source Code and email it to a colleague. Use Copy Signature for the steps below.

In Gmail's Settings > General > Signature, a long HTML signature fails with a "signature is too long" message. Delete it there and use a template instead:

• Go to Settings > Advanced and enable Templates
• Compose a new email, add a few blank lines and paste the signature
• Open the three-dot More options menu > Templates > Save draft as template > Save as new template, name it Signature and save

In any new email, open More options > Templates > Signature to insert it with all links working.

In Yahoo Mail go to Settings > More Settings > Writing email, paste the signature and check the preview. New emails now include it.

Select the gear icon > View all Outlook settings > Compose and reply. Select New signature, name it, paste the signature and save. Under For new messages choose the signature name and save.

Open a new email to see the signature, then send yourself a test and click each link: the phone number opens a phone app, and the email, website, social icons and button all open correctly.
